PROJECT: This 11 acre site was given to the recreation district and had sat dormant and unusable for several years. The topography of the site was dramatic and development was previously thought to be too expensive due to the earthwork operations and previous budgets. Greg Toler was able to design the site to obtain three primary uses the district wanted in Phase I: tee ball, small Lacrosse/soccer field, a playground for smaller children and a parking lot. The site was designed in tiers which minimized the earthwork operations and provided a more natural setting within the mountains of North Evergreen. The project was completed with no soil import or export and came in on time and budget. The park is a favorite for parents with smaller children due to the equipment and location.
